Adult Groups

We have visited hospices, hospitals, prisons, day centres for people with mental health problems, for those with severe disabilities, the homeless.

We shall renew these adult visits once we receive further funding.

Adult presentations in 2000 and 2002 were funded by two lottery donations, Awards for All. Over 200 adult presentations were given.

Some groups were also taken to London Museums and art galleries.

“Excellent presentation. A wonderful idea to bring Art to the people. It has opened new vistas for us.”

Social Secretary, L.B.S. Multiple Sclerosis.

Thanks again for a very successful event. For us as staff it was also very useful to see a different side to/level of interaction with some individuals than we had seen before and this will help us support them in their recovery in the future.

“Superb speaker. She makes everything so easy to understand. She also encourages a great deal of interaction among the members. Can’t wait for her to come again.” Group leader, Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation, Dartford.

Absolutely brilliant lecture ! Given me a new insight into art pictures more in depth which I never knew existed. I like to have more lectures like this. I know I will carry this knowledge and tell my girl friend about this.

This was something I did not expect. An absolutely enthralling lecture that I did not want to end. Made me see things with a different eye. Full of humour and funI would like to partake in another one as soon as possible. The presenter was excellent. Thank you.  HMP Wormwood Scrubs
