Workshops for Adults

We also visit adult groups including those in hospices, hospitals, prisons, youth clubs, residential and sheltered care homes, day centres for people with mental health problems and homeless organisations.

The whole audience is encouraged to join in throughout the session whether they are already art experts or looking at paintings for the first time so that a lively debate and discussion ensues.

Cost: £60 per session. Our session prices include travel and administrative costs and all equipment and materials. In some areas we are able to offer free sessions thanks to generous donations from charitable foundations and private individuals. Please enquire to see whether your group is covered.

Engaging and informative – the slides chosen led to a lot of debate within the group, constructive criticism and talk as a group which in a prison environment seems to help inmates feel that their ideas are wanted and worthwhile, a feeling most prisoners rarely feel. The lecture brought paintings to people who most likely would never visit places these paintings are exhibited. A very worthwhile two hours.
